Tube laser cutting is an advanced capability that truly sets Ameritex apart. We are able to process complex weldments with holes, notches, and other cutouts in structural steel that are impossible to achieve by hand or with a saw. Utilizing our BLM LT8 and LT5 we can quickly process tubing, pipe, angle, channel, and even beam up to 8” square or 9” round. These profiles can be up to 27ft long and weigh up to 27 lbs per foot out of carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Where tube lasers truly give us an edge is in their ability to handle material efficiently. The machines have a bundle loader for closed shapes (round, square, rectangle, etc.) and a step loader for open shapes (Angle, Channel, Beam, etc.) these two loading devices effortlessly feed material into the machine BEFORE it is actually needed for cutting which results in extreme efficiency from one piece of raw material to the next. A 3D laser cutting head allows us to program another level of complexity into the part by utilizing the ability to tilt the cutting head up to 45 degrees. This tilting action can be used to bevel ends or make sharp mitered cuts at welded joints.
