One of our standout capabilities is our OTC robots. We have two of these advanced machines, each capable of handling welds up to 68 inches without stopping. This capability not only enhances efficiency but also ensures consistent, high-quality welds. OTC is renowned as one of the best welding machines on the market, and its inclusion in our shop underscores our commitment to excellence.
Our welding arsenal also includes TIG machines, which are highly versatile and capable of welding any material we work with, as well as gas metal arc and gas metal arc pulse techniques. These are just a few examples of the many welding capabilities we have in-house at Ameritex.
Our People-First Approach
We believe that providing a well-equipped and thoughtfully designed workspace is critical for maximizing productivity and ensuring high-quality output. Our philosophy is simple: giving our welders everything they need to be comfortable, safe, and productive will lead to the highest quality parts.
Each of our four production lines is designed to give every welder approximately 20 square feet of their own space. This setup includes individual fume structures, dedicated machines, and multiple gas stations, eliminating the need for welders to handle gas bottles manually. Our welders need only bring themselves, a pair of steel toe boots, and a long sleeve shirt – everything else is provided at their station.
Access to technology is another cornerstone of our approach. Welders can access digital information, including 3D models, via computers located every 15 feet on the shop floor. Shifting from traditional paper packets to digital access has streamlined our operations, reducing the need for rework and enhancing efficiency.
We provide state-of-the-art equipment for our welders – in fact, 90% of our welding machines were purchased in 2024. We also have more welding machines than welders, ensuring that production doesn’t stop even if a machine needs maintenance.

We handle every part of the fabrication process in-house: cutting, forming, welding, painting, and assembling. This comprehensive approach not only ensures better control over the quality but also significantly reduces reliance on external suppliers. All our parts are made right here in Texas, eliminating the delays and uncertainties associated with international supply chains.
